In the sphere of electricity, the economic load dispatch problem is a well-known issue. To limit emissions and lower overall running costs, we must employ certain effective optimization techniques. In this field, several attempts have been undertaken. This limited optimization issue has been solved using heuristic techniques such as evolutionary strategies and genetic algorithms in addition to conventional methods like lambda iteration method. This study presents a fresh approach to tackling this challenge using a Constrained Teaching learning method. The findings were compared with those of its equivalents, LX-BBO and BBO. The comparison of the algorithms highlights Constrained TLA’s superiority over its rivals.
