Integrating Terms of Service and Service Level Agreements for Automating Cloud Service Management
摘要
Customer agreements are fundamental in governing the relationship between service providers and their customers. They are typically composed of interrelated documents that define terms of service, pricing models, and service-level agreements. These documents are managed as separate entities, despite having interdependencies between them. There is a need for a holistic approach to analyse customer agreements as a whole in order to automatically manage and operate services, considering all legal aspects contained in them. In this work, we propose an integrated ontology that provides facilities to semantically describe both terms of service and service-level agreements, enabling operations that not only analyse each part of the customer agreement, but also the interrelated terms, offering a global framework to manage and operate cloud services. We define analysis operations and validate our ontology against cloud service providers, demonstrating their applicability.
