Study on the Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Magnetic Flux Leakage Signal of Broken Wire Damage of Passenger Ropeway Wire Rope

Due to the diverse types, unique structure, and complex working conditions of passenger ropeway wire rope,it is prone to different degrees and locations of broken wire damage due to complex factors during long-term operation and use. Through the analysis and establishment of the equivalent band dipole model of wire rope breakage damage and the design and production of wire breakage damage samples, the wire breakage defects of different damage types and different specifications were constructed. The magnetic flux leakage (MFL) signal characteristics and influencing factors of broken wire damage of passenger ropeway wire rope were studied and obtained by theoretical analysis and experimental testing methods respectively. It provides data and theoretical support for the subsequent research on the characteristics extraction and quantitative identification of wire rope breakage damage.
