This chapter explores how generative artificial intelligence (AI), through tools such as GPT-4 and GANs, can enhance creativity in learning. AI personalises educational content and generates interactive environments that promote critical thinking, curiosity, and experimentation, enhancing cognitive skills such as working memory and flexibility. While AI significantly benefits creativity development, the chapter highlights ethical and pedagogical challenges like equity and privacy. The importance of training teachers to integrate AI into the classroom is highlighted, and active methodologies such as project-based learning are proposed. Studies reviewed show that AI enhances students’ originality and flexibility, but the limitations and risks of its implementation are cautioned.
