The Historical Tradition of Officials’ Daily Behavior
摘要
This chapter sorts out the general context of meetings, texts, and visits from the vast Chinese political history. If they are separated from the complex specific events and subtle links, the following points can be drawn: First, these three types of behaviors have been long-standing in Chinese political life, have a long history, and have become the daily mechanism of political operation. Second, the emergence and changes of these three types of behaviors depend on the design of the political organization structure, the pattern of political power relations, and the core values of political culture. They obey and serve specific political values, political systems, and political organizations. Third, it can be seen that the behaviors of text and visits have stronger stability. However, meetings have increasingly occupied an important position in political life with changes in the modern power field, and this importance has continued from the New Democratic Revolution to the present.
