This chapter discusses the necessity of distributing objective criteria weights to each criterion of alternative to indicate significance of each decision criteria during the addressing complex decision problems. This chapter explores the core concepts, principles, complexity, MATLAB implementation, and research gaps associated with various weight estimation approaches. This chapter also explores the different benefits, appropriateness for diverse decision problems, and constraints associated with each model.
