This chapter evaluates various background contributions to the signal, including \(e^+e^- \rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-\pi ^0\pi ^0\gamma \) , \(e^+e^- \rightarrow K^+K^-\pi ^0 \gamma \) , multiphoton final states, and non-ISR processes. Background levels are quantified using data control samples and simulation, and subtracted from the observed spectra.
