Introduction
摘要
This chapter introduces the scientific motivation for precision measurements of the hadronic cross section in electron-positron annihilation, with particular emphasis on the muon anomalous magnetic moment \(a_\mu \) . It reviews the current experimental and theoretical status of \(a_\mu \) , outlines the role of hadronic vacuum polarization, and explains why the \(e^+e^- \rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-\pi ^0\) is significant for reducing theoretical uncertainties in \(a_\mu \) . The chapter sets the stage for the analysis presented in subsequent chapters.
