Development of Lightweight Wire Rope Magnetic Flux Leakage Detection System
摘要
The existing wire rope detection system has complex installation conditions, narrow scene space, and large signal noise. In this paper, a novel highly integrated wire rope detection system based on magnetic flux leakage is introduced and developed. The system is lightweight, portable, and has a detection device and an all-in-one instrument. The all-in-one testing instrument can be mounted on the arm and used with various sizes and types of detection device for nondestructive testing of wire ropes. The MFL detection device uses small size and low-weight open-loop permanent magnetization to magnetize the wire rope, and inductive coils are evenly embedded inside the MFL detection device in a 360° hoop array. Hall sensors are mounted on the sides inside the MFL detection device, which together are used to capture the MFL signal. The all-in-one instrument includes an acquisition system with STM32 as a microprocessor and a data management system with RK3588s as a microprocessor. The detection sensor collects the MFL signal, the acquisition system collects the signal, the data management system processes the signal and displays the waveform and alarm abnormal information. The data management system can also facilitate the user to set parameters, view historical data, and view report at any time. The test is carried out on a 38-mm-diameter wire rope to evaluate the system, and the magnetic signal from the sensor is acquired and recorded by the system. The experimental results show that the wire rope detection system has the advantages of high sensitivity, simple structure, light-weight, and portability, and has certain promotion value.
