In this chapter, we explain dimensional analysis, which is a useful method for dealing with complex situations that cannot be easily analyzed theoretically. After some examples, we describe the fundamentals of dimensional analysis including dimensional matrix and the Pi-theorem. Then the concrete procedures of dimensional analysis are explained. After that, we describe some examples of the systematic dimensional analysis. Finally, we discuss the fundamental principle of model experiments.
