This paper presents a vertically integrated curriculum framework in smart technology education, spanning from Higher Diploma (HD) to Master’s level, with concentrated focuses on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and the internet of things (IoT). Developed in alignment with Hong Kong’s strategic goals of becoming an international innovation and technology hub, the framework emphasises applied learning, industry collaboration, and a modular curriculum structure. Key outcomes include the design of a multi-track system that supports seamless academic progression and specialisation, a shared module pool that enhances resource efficiency and articulation, and the integration of advanced teaching technologies such as a cyber range for immersive, hands-on training. The framework effectively addresses the growing demand for skilled professionals in smart technologies and offers a scalable, adaptable model for technology education in rapidly evolving domains.

摘要
