Based on the wave generation method and numerical model proposed above, this chapter mainly studies the interaction between strongly stratified internal solitary waves and suspended/submerged bodies with forward speed. First, the computational model and numerical settings are introduced, and dimensionless transformation is applied to the involved physical parameters. After understanding the model setup, under the principle of controlled variables, the motion and load conditions of suspended and moving submerged bodies at different submergence depths, wave amplitudes, and speeds are studied to analyze the coupling mechanism between strongly stratified internal solitary waves and submerged bodies. Finally, the influence patterns of submergence depth, wave amplitude, and speed on the submerged body are summarized.
