Nowadays there is an immense increase in the usage of the Internet. From small organizations to large scale businesses, the Internet is widely used in all aspects. So there is an alarming need to detect the malware for the easy and secured flow of information. It is observed that one out of every four computers face this issue. It damages the organization financially as well as emotionally. Few malware are easy to detect at the administrator level while some are intelligently hidden and are not easy to track. There is lots of research going on for the detection but still it’s an open challenge to prevent the malware that there remains no need to detect it at the later stages. This research addressed the detection of malware through machine learning techniques. Results obtained infer that machine learning technique can be employed for cyber intelligence.
