The current calibration methods and standards for acoustic emission sensors mainly target the frequency band above 100 kHz. Now the application of low-frequency acoustic emission monitoring technology is widely used. A primary velocity sensitivity calibration method for AE sensors in the frequency band below 100 kHz based on laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) was proposed. By reducing the cycle number of the excitation sine signal and performing windowing and FFT operations on the output voltage of the sensor and vibration velocity signals, the calibration of the sensitivity of the low-frequency sensor has been achieved. The velocity sensitivity of low-frequency acoustic emission sensors were calibrated in the frequency range of 20–100 kHz, demonstrating the feasibility of the calibration method.

摘要
