Research on Detection and Noise Reduction of TDLAS System Based on ICEEMDAN Algorithm

This paper centers on the detection signal processing in TDLAS technology. Due to the positive correlation between the second harmonic and gas concentration, its extraction and processing are crucial. By reviewing research status, phase-locked amplifier technology’s wide use in second-harmonic extraction and EMD-like algorithms’ pros and cons are found. The ICEEMDAN algorithm is applied for noise reduction. A TDLAS simulation platform is built with LabVIEW. Research shows that a modulation coefficient of 2.1 and a frequency of 50 kHz are optimal. The goodness-of-fit between gas concentration and the second-harmonic amplitude is 0.992. IMF11-IMF15 are used for signal reconstruction, with a high correlation coefficient. ICEEMDAN’s SNR of 2.0856 is better, improving detection sensitivity and reducing the detection limit.
