IPOP-Structured LLC Resonant Converter with Adaptive Mode Switching for Wide Voltage Range and High-Power Applications
摘要
To address the urgent demand of renewable energy systems for wide-gain and high-power isolated DC/DC converters, this paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for a two-phase interleaved IPOP LLC resonant converter. By deeply integrating topology morphing (FB/HB mode switching) and phase-shifting current sharing, the strategy overcomes the limitations of conventional LLC converters, such as narrow gain range and insufficient current-sharing accuracy in multi-module systems. The dual-loop cooperative control mechanism achieves: Direct FB → HB switching with <5% overshoot, and duty-cycle-ramped HB → FB switching reducing overshoot to ≤50%. Experimental results demonstrate a 300–600 V input/output range with 75 kW/phase power capacity, providing a high-reliability DC/DC solution for high-power applications. The design balances wide gain, low component stress, and robust disturbance rejection.
