Simulation and Experimental Research on Key Performance of Wave-Transparent Lightning Rod
摘要
To solve the serious interference problem of the reflectivity and differential reflectivity of the radar caused by the traditional lightning protection system, a new type of wave-transparent lightning rod was designed by combining the fragment guiding structure and the high-performance wave-transparent composite rod. In order to verify the protection and wave-transparent ability of the new wave-transparent lighting rod, some tests were carried out: (1) The test of high voltage attachment to flash and impact current capacity shows that the average breakdown threshold of the new wave-transparent lightning rod is 4.45 kV/cm, and the impact current capacity is greater than 150 kA (±10%, 10/350 us waveform), which meets the second type of building lightning protection requirements specified in GB50057 and QX/T2-2016 standards; (2) The new type of wave-transparent connecting rod is tested by anechoic chamber. The results show that the average insertion loss of the new type wave-transparent connecting rod is less than 0.2dB in the range of 0.3G to 18G. The new wave-transparent lightning rod has little influence on radar detection performance, which could be further applied and promoted in radar direct lightning protection.
