The Beauty of Industry
摘要
This chapter investigates the manifestations and value of industrial beauty, focusing on industrial aesthetics within production and daily life. It distinguishes natural beauty from artificial beauty and traces the evolution of human aesthetics from traditional craftsmanship to modern industrial production. Industrial aesthetics is defined as the systematic application of aesthetic principles in technology, production processes, and labor. The chapter elaborates on beauty in industrial processes: design (integrating ergonomics), manufacturing (pursuing precision), marketing (visual communication), environment (green layouts), and management (process efficiency). Regarding products, it examines beauty in precision machinery (structural), fashion items (morphological), and virtual interfaces (interactive). The findings reveal that industrial beauty integrates functionality with aesthetic value, enhancing user experience and brand competitiveness. It is shown to improve product quality, boost production efficiency, reflect civilizational achievements, and contribute to a more harmonious world.
