In this chapter, we consider datasets (Mumtaz et al. in Artif Intell Med 84:79–89, 2018) under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, available via the next link https://archive.ics.uci.edu/dataset/121/eeg+database . This dataset originates from an extensive research project investigating the relationship between genetic susceptibility to alcoholism and electroencephalogram (EEG) patterns. The study collected data using a network of 64 electrodes positioned across participants’ scalps, recording electrical activity at a sampling rate of 256 Hz (256 times per second).
