This chapter applies the Future Generations Policy Framework tenets laid out in Chaps. 6 and 7 to the following three critical issues: artificial intelligenceartificial intelligenceAI, climate change, and agingaging and the intergenerational pactintergenerational pact in the context of Australia. These case studies draw on the data presented on these issues in the 2023 Intergenerational Report. We pay attention to how policymaking can concurrently consider the needs and interests of current and future generations and create co-benefits as per our definition of Future Generations Policy.
