Japan has already developed expertise in fuel cell technology, which India can adopt for the growth of its transportation and other sectors. A mutual agreement between these two growing economies will potentially facilitate trade and investment across various domains, particularly in the research and development of hydrogen fuel and studying how it could help mitigate climate catastrophes. Such collaboration requires substantial investments in production costs and infrastructure development. Dialogues involving industry experts and the workforce from technical and non-technical institutions may aid in navigating the challenges to achieve the larger goal of a clean energy economy.
