Exploring Wind-Wave Interactions Using AI: Predicting Behavior Across Fetch and Wind Speed Variations
摘要
This paper will deeply explore the dynamics of waves that are generated by wind at different velocities (8, 10, 12, 16, 18, and 20 m/s). This wind strikes the surface of water, and a tiny ripple is produced. This ripple will grow into bigger wind waves inside the controlled tank of size 8 × 0.4 m. An eight-channel wave probe is used to collect wave characteristics, combined with artificial intelligence (AI) utilized to extract and study wave characteristics like amplitude, frequency, and phase. Machine learning models are implemented for automated feature extraction, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling of wave behavior. This research will highlight the application of AI in wind-wave interaction and its analysis, and also provide a novel insight into wind-wave interaction and contribute to the understanding of ocean wave dynamics in AI-driven methods.
