This chapter presents a novel hybrid surgical technique that integrates laminoplasty with artificial ligament reconstruction to overcome the limitations of conventional thoracic spinal tumor surgery. Traditional methods often result in compromised stability, chronic pain, and deformities like kyphosis due to the loss of posterior support structures. By restoring the bony integrity through laminoplasty and compensating for absent interspinous and supraspinous ligaments with artificial substitutes, this combined approach enhances spinal stability and alignment. As a result, patients benefit from reduced postoperative complications, minimized pain, and improved functional recovery.
