In this chapter, we discuss some properties of billiards with a time-dependent boundary. We will construct the discrete mapping that describes the dynamics of the particles using the fact that the particle’s velocity at each collision is determined by applying the law of conservation of linear momentum in the reference frame of the moving boundary.

摘要

In this chapter, we discuss some properties of billiards with a time-dependent boundary.
