摘要

Rapid population growth in urban areas, combined with existing social inequalities among populations, has heightened the need for accessible housing. The existing standard building practices demonstrate inadequate performance in terms of affordable and sustainable housing solutions. This chapter studies methods to enhance affordable home selection through current building methods coupled with digital property management systems and intelligent system implementations. The housing sector develops through integrated ventures between Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D printing, along with modular construction and Internet of Things (IoT) managed by blockchain-based property management technologies. The union of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and data analytics enables the improvement of housing distribution networks, along with design models that align with scholarly recommendations. Both developing and global economies have housing affordability cases serving as the foundation for this study to show how public–private partnerships succeed using fiscal policies and fintech solutions. Technology integration in affordable housing generates financial benefits to boost resource protection approaches while building inclusive practices and establishing higher building quality standards.
