Psychological and Ancillary Support in Vitiligo
摘要
Vitiligo affects a person’s psychological and social well-being including social relationships, mental health, and career chances. The effects that vitiligo has may even include sleep difficulties and interference with interpersonal relationships. Vitiligo has been shown to have a detrimental effect on marriages in certain situations; in other cases, the development of skin depigmentation has been used as justification for divorce. This confluence of social and emotional difficulties emphasises how critical it is to address vitiligo’s effects in their entirety and provide psychological and ancillary support for the same.
