Transmission Electron Microscope and Transmission Electron Microscopy
摘要
Over the nearly one century since the invention of the transmission electron microscope (TEM), intensive development in instrumentation and methodology has dramatically expanded its capabilities. This chapter first briefly introduces the essential components of the TEM and highlights their recent innovations. It then provides a comprehensive overview of the most prominent imaging and spectroscopy techniques, with a focused discussion on their basic principles and the novel functionalities they enable.
