There are numerous topical antifungal drugs used in dermatologic practice and include azoles, allylamines, benzylamines, hydroxypyridone and morpholine derivatives. All drugs have shown efficacy in the management of dermatophytosis, with some of them demonstrating value in the management of onychomycosis. Part XVIII will discuss these aspects of topical antifungal drugs in detail.
