Levamisole demonstrates effectiveness in a number of dermatological disorders because of its immunomodulatory properties. Though not used as a primary drug, the utility of levamisole as an adjuvant drug has been propitious. Some of the dermatoses where levamisole is useful include warts, molluscum contagiosum, lichen planus, vitiligo and acne.
