Hardware Platform for Autonomous Driving
摘要
The autonomous driving hardware platform mainly includes vehicle control parts, steer-by-wire chassis, sensors, and computing platforms. The development of intelligent vehicles promotes the in-depth application of computer technology, communication network technology, artificial intelligence, and big data cloud computing in the automotive industry. Section 3.1 introduces sensors, namely cameras, lidar, millimeter-wave radar, ultrasonic radar, inertial measurement units (IMU), Global Positioning System (GPS), and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X); Sect. 3.2 briefly describes vehicle control, including VCU/ECU/MCU, CAN bus, ESP, and EPS; Sect. 3.3 mainly discusses current commercial computing platforms, such as Intel Mobileye’s EQ series, NVIDIA’s Drive Xavier and Orin, TI’s TDA4VM, and Qualcomm’s Ride; Sect. 3.4 introduces steer-by-wire chassis technology; Sect. 3.5 mainly discusses the technology of automotive electronic and electrical architecture.
