The autonomous driving system contains multiple highly collaborative sub-modules, such as perception, decision-making, control, and execution. The seamless integration and collaborative work between these modules are the basis for the regular operation of the system. At the same time, how to verify the safety and reliability of these systems in various complex environments has become a key challenge in the development of autonomous driving. After the system integration is completed, the V&V process becomes the core step in the implementation of the autonomous driving system. V&V requires not only simulation testing and bench testing, but also the functional performance and safety of the V&V system in various scenarios on real roads. This chapter mainly introduces the integration, verification and validation (V&V) of the autonomous driving system, including system architecture design, module integration methods, testing and V&V processes, functional and safety evaluation, and performance metric system. System integration not only solves the interface compatibility problem between hardware and software modules but also ensures that each module works together to achieve the optimal performance of the system.

摘要
