Research on Local Skidding Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Cylindrical Roller Bearings
摘要
Bearing slippage can reduce the operating accuracy and service life of rolling bearings. At present, the research mainly focuses on the macroscopic slippage of the cage under light load. The local slippage of rolling elements changing with position needs further investigation. This paper focuses on cylindrical roller bearings under radial loads, in order to study the local skidding mechanism of their internal rolling elements and further reveal the mechanism and action of bearing skidding characteristic. The research in this paper has found that the slippage of rollers inside bearings exhibits periodic fluctuations. And there is a sudden increase in skidding rate of the roller during cross zone movement (entering the bearing area from the no load bearing area). At this time, the roller collides violently with the cage hole, resulting in a decrease in the local motion stability of the roller. This research in this paper contributes to a more comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the slip characteristics of cylindrical roller bearings.
