In recent years, wireless sensor network has assumed an important role in various fields. However, its limited power and capacity pose a challenge. Most researches focus on the improvisation of sensor energy. This work focuses on improvisation of sensor energy through compression method. The proposed work involves acquiring the image, separating image-based intensity, using DWT method for fixing row and column size, application of biorthogonal DWT decompression and the usage of VEDIC methodology for multiplication purposed. The VEDIC multiplier function uses Niklishm Navatasocaraman sutra for speed multiplication. Finally, Huffman coding techniques are applied and PSNR, MSE, and compression ratio are calculated. This proposed work is compared with DWT techniques and good compression ratio was acquired compared to DWT.
