This chapter presents an overview of nano-elicitors, an innovative method for influencing plant responses to abiotic stress, along with their agricultural applications. Abiotic stress is a substantial risk to worldwide agricultural output, influencing plant growth, development, and yield. The rising prevalence and intensity of abiotic stresses require the formulation of novel ways to improve crop resilience. Nano-elicitors have emerged as a promising instrument in agriculture, providing an innovative method to regulate plant responses to abiotic stress. This chapter examines the mechanisms of action of nano-elicitors, their agricultural applications, and the problems and constraints related to their use. The application of nano-elicitors in agriculture may enhance crop yields, diminish environmental impact, and foster sustainable agricultural methods.
