Preventing Sexual Abuse of Children Under 16 Through Criminal Justice Mechanisms
摘要
Prevention of sexual offenses against persons under 16 years old is a system of solutions that embody both state and social characteristics, aiming to address the increase and development of such crimes. For crime prevention to be effective, it is essential to identify the legal regulations concerning this type of crime, as well as assess the extent and evolution of sexual abuse behaviors towards individuals under 16 in the current period. On that basis, it is necessary to propose preventive measures that focus on changing the mindset about crime prevention, improving the legal framework, raising community awareness, and building a safe and healthy environment for children.
