Based on the sociality, communicativeness, and functionality of language and landsenses, this paper examines compatibilities between systemic functional linguistics (SFL) and landsenses ecology. Firstly, the core concepts and research status of the two theories are outlined, and the similarities between Halliday’s interpretation of the relationship among language, the world, speech act, and cognition, and the elaboration of vision, landsense creation, and common behavioral norms from the perspective of landsenses ecology are analyzed based on existing literature. Secondly, the potential areas of contact between systemic functional linguistics and landsenses ecology are discussed. And finally, the paper examines the path of linguistic landsense creation in relation to systemic functional linguistics. The final section presents a collaborative view, suggesting that one of the goals of functionally oriented linguistics should be to attempt to enable people to appreciate the humanistic value and social significance of language, further explaining the significance of theoretical integration in the fields of systemic functional linguistics and landsenses ecology for the contemporary development of the practical functional perspective of language.

摘要
