Reinforcing Video Watermarks: Security Techniques and Blockchain Protocols
摘要
Video content watermarking is a technique that is important in securing ownership of video content as well as intellectual property ensuring authenticity of the content. The application of blockchain for securing the watermark is presented as a promising solution for such challenges to offer decentralized and tamper-proof records for watermark management. This paper surveys video watermarking techniques, with more specific consideration on techniques that improve security, agility, and imperceptibility. The analysis discusses how traceability and ownership record improvements can be used with blockchain which can also ensure security from tampering and unauthorized changes. The techniques are compared performance wise using Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Normalized Correlation (NC), and Bit Error Rate (BER) to compression, noise, and geometric attacks to detect their agility.
