Innovative Pathways for Blockchain-Enabled Intellectual Property Pledge Financing: A Case Study of the “Zhiyirong” Platform

Intellectual property pledge financing is an important method of financing for technology-based enterprises. However, challenges such as the lack of standardized IP valuation, information asymmetry among participants, and high default risks reduce the efficiency of intellectual property financing and severely restrict the allocation of financial resources to technology-based enterprises. This paper takes “Zhiyirong” the first national-level intellectual property financing service platform based on blockchain technology, as the research subject. It focuses on exploring how blockchain “alchemy” empowers the entire process of intellectual property pledge financing and summarizes the innovative path of “multi-dimensional + full-chain + ecological + intelligent” features. The paper shows that the use of blockchain’s immutability, end-to-end encryption, and traceability helps integrate multiple stakeholders, enabling a “many-to-many” resource supply-demand model, reshaping the financing credit mechanism, breaking the bottleneck of financing difficulties for SMEs, and ensuring the transparency, fairness, justice, and data security of the pledge process. The creation of the “Zhiyirong” platform injects new vitality into the deep integration of technology, industry, and finance, and opens a new chapter in the development of technology finance.
