Over the past 5 years, nuclear power has been experiencing a gradual resurgence globally. Due to its fundamental role in addressing global climate crises, the global energy crisis entailed by the Russia–Ukraine conflict, and the energy security increasingly emerging as national security issue, China adopted a proactive and ambitious strategy in developing it’s nuclear power industry. Similar to China’s energy policy shift, other major nuclear power countries, such as the United States, Russia, France, South Korea, and Japan, have significantly readjusted its nuclear power policy over the past few years. This study focuses on analyzing the changes in nuclear energy policies among major nuclear power countries. Based on the general trends of global nuclear policy adjusting, this paper proposes strategic policy propositions for reforming nuclear power policy, and cultivating rational public acceptance for inland nuclear power development in China.

摘要
