With the continuous advancement of artificial intelligence technology, the large language model (LLM) is being increasingly and widely employed in diverse fields. This paper presents a nuclear professional AI teaching engine based on LLM technology, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of nuclear engineering education and public awareness of nuclear energy. Jointly developed by Tsinghua University and China Nuclear Power Operation Technology Co., LTD., the engine integrates a LLM and a local knowledge base to offer intelligent question-answering, data retrieval, auxiliary teaching, and other functions, providing strong support for nuclear engineering education. This engine is applied to nuclear engineering education, where it is explored and tested for its application and practice in the nuclear major to assist students ‘learning and teachers’ teaching. Additionally, its significance regarding the privacy of knowledge and data in nuclear education is discussed. In addition, the further promotion and application of the engine will also contribute to lowering the public's learning threshold for knowledge related to nuclear energy, facilitate the further promotion of nuclear energy popularization, enhance the public's awareness and acceptance of nuclear energy, and promote the sustainable development of nuclear energy.

摘要
