With the rapid development of information technology, the control systems of Nuclear Power Plants are undergoing a transformation from traditional analog technologies to digitalization and intelligence, a transition that is critical to enhancing the safety and efficiency of NPP. Parallel theory as a new research technique integration theory, practice, and computation, provides a new perspective and tools for this transformation. Based on the parallel theory, this paper discusses its application and fusion in safety-level DCS in NPP. By explaining the parallel theory and analyzing its application requirements in safety-level DCS, the application architecture of safety-level DCS based on the parallel theory is proposed, and the application of the parallel theory in safety-level DCS chassis of NPP is analyzed. It aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the digital transformation and development of safety-level DCS in NPP and other key fields in China and the safe, stable and reliable operation of nuclear power units.
