The first batch of nuclear power plants in China has been in business for more than 30 years, and the aging management of nuclear power plant equipment is an important problem that must be faced as a nuclear power country. This paper takes the instrument control cable of nuclear power plant as the starting point to sort out the relevant standard requirements of aging management and condition monitoring methods, and analyze the influence factors and aging mechanism of cable control. This paper introduces common cable condition monitoring methods and aging management methods, and optimizes the cable screening process to provide reference for the subsequent nuclear power plant life extension and cable aging evaluation.
