System response time is an important indicator for the operation of nuclear power plants, which can reflect the control accuracy of the control system and the health status of the system, and further affect the safety and stability of the plant. This paper adopts the method of mathematical modeling, decomposes the system from the system architecture to the physical channel of the hardware module step by step, conducts theoretical analysis and calculation on the response time of the control system of one nuclear power plant, and carries out actual tests for verification, proving the accuracy of the theoretical analysis. The test results show that the response time of the control system meets the requirements of the technical specification of the nuclear power plant.
