According to 10 CFR 50 Appendix A GDC 17 Requirement, the analysis of Anticipated Operational Occurrence (AOO) and the postulated accidents should take into account the Loss of Off-site AC Power (LOOP). HAF 102 also provides that, necessary power supply should be provided in the event of the loss of Off-site power source under any AOOs or Design Basis Accidents. All the AOOs of Hualong Nuclear Plants (NPP) are discussed considering LOOP as the consequence of turbine trip. The AOO Turbine Trip is re-analyzed with the assumption of LOOP at different times. The results show that the consequences after considering LOOP can still meet the acceptance criteria.
