Based on the existing technology of the Changjiang Multipurpose Modular Small Reactor (ACP100) in Hainan, it is necessary to further develop and research emergency operating procedure strategies, study the accident conditions of the ACP100 passive integrated reactor and its application in emergency operating strategy analysis, in order to establish the ACP100 symptom oriented emergency procedure system and ensure the safety of ACP100 passive nuclear power plant operation. The steam generator tube rupture (SGTR) accident, as a typical design basis accident in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, is one of the focuses of this study. The response of the integrated reactor and passive safety system after the accident, as well as the optimal solution for the operation of technical personnel after the accident, are also the focus of this study. This article first summarizes the main thermal and hydraulic phenomena and system response status of the ACP100 small reactor SGTR accident. Then, based on the best estimation analysis results of the SGTR accident, and based on the SGTR accident phenomenon and process, a SGTR accident operating strategy based on symptom oriented accident regulations is developed.
