The applications of computational cytology and artificial intelligence are rapidly evolving. Its major applications are in digital slide analysis, screening of cancer, accurate diagnosis, classifying the diseases, prognosis prediction, prediction of mutational changes from haematoxylin and eosin staining slides and management of diseases. Currently, the integration of clinical data, molecular data, radiological imaging and text data along with whole slide imaging data, has made major breakthroughs in this field. In the present chapter, details of clinical applications of computational cytology and artificial intelligence are discussed.

The applications of computational cytology and artificial intelligence are rapidly evolving. Its major applications are in digital slide analysis, screening of cancer, accurate diagnosis, classifying the diseases, prognosis prediction, prediction of mutational changes from haematoxylin and eosin staining slides and management of diseases.
