Our review revealed that currently, Jordan has achieved a high level of basic education coverage, including a significant majority of its population. Additionally, the country has achieved a commendable tertiary enrolment rate. Nevertheless, there are issues over the quality and pertinence of education, high rates of unemployment, budget constraints, poor technological support, and refugee challenges. Current policy discussions are engaged in addressing the dilemmas surrounding the balance between quality and access, the dichotomy between vocational and academic orientations, and the trade-off between centralized government and decentralization.
