This chapter focuses on the different landscapes of educational policies and practices in Uganda and examines the challenges and opportunities that define its educational framework. The educational system in Uganda has undergone significant transformations, marked by initiatives such as Universal Primary Education (UPE) and Universal Secondary Education (USE). However, persistent challenges, such as access disparities, quality assurance, and technology integration, pose formidable hurdles. This chapter discusses Uganda’s education policies and their execution, offering insights into the dynamics of education governance. This chapter closely examines the challenges and opportunities faced in Uganda’s education. It explores how inclusive and innovative approaches and community involvement can have a positive impact. This chapter adds to the conversation on improving education in Uganda by providing a detailed overview.
