This chapter outlines New China’s ocean project measures and effects, centered on the harmonious oceans concept, the expansion and system of China’s strong maritime country strategy, and contemporary BRI practice. It first explores the need, the meaning under international law, and its refinement of the harmonious world for the harmonious oceans concept.Then, this chapter details the contents, development process, basic path, and characteristics of China’s strong maritime country strategy in the new era. Regarding the BRI, it covers its nature, task, spatial scope, basic contents, objectives, vision, cooperation, safeguards, and focuses on analyzing its effects, presenting a comprehensive framework of New China’s ocean-related endeavors and their multifaceted impacts.
