Combination of Objective Analysis and Subjective Judgment
摘要
Objective analysis and subjective judgment are important methods of scientific research, and the combination of the two enhances our ability to observe, understand, and transform the world. They are also very important methods for think tank research. As professional institutions that produce products of thought, think tanks must maintain objectivity and independence, and avoid subjective bias and conflicts of interest. Evidence-based insight can provide scientific support for decision-making on complex issues, ensure the most effective application of information resources, and make decisions scientific, rational and optimal. The combination of objective analysis and subjective judgment can improve the quality of think tank research and promote scientific decision-making by fully grasping the objective facts and scientific evidence. Meanwhile, the reasonable demands of stakeholders and actors should be fully considered, and subjective bias and the influence of interest groups are suppressed. The combination of objective analysis and subjective judgment, and the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis are the basic methods of think tank research. This chapter focuses on the significance of combining objective analysis and subjective judgment, examines related concepts, discusses the principles, criteria and ways of combining objective analysis and subjective judgment, and studies the application of combined objective analysis and subjective judgment in the Double Helix Methodology in Think Tanks.
